As part of the ONE PIECE Night at Dodger Stadium on July 3, Toei Animation has announced a special limited-edition Luffy card from the ONE PIECE Card Game, to be given away to ticketed attendees. The collectible features exclusive character art by ONE PIECE creator Eiichiro Oda, showing Monkey D. Luffy dressed in an official Los Angeles Dodgers jersey and cap.
The commemorative card will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to fans who visit designated ONE PIECE activation zones located throughout Dodger Stadium during the game. Only one card will be provided per ticketed guest while supplies last.
This giveaway is the latest addition to the ONE PIECE Night programme, which includes ONE PIECE-themed activities in and around the stadium, the distribution of 40,000 co-branded straw hats at entry gates, and a postgame drone show featuring characters from the franchise. The Dodgers are scheduled to face the Chicago White Sox at 7:10 p.m.
The Dodgers event s a growing list of high-profile ONE PIECE collaborations across the sports and entertainment industries. Previous crossover promotions have included a ONE PIECE Theme Day at Fenway Park with the Borussia Dortmund football club.
Brand partnerships have also extended into retail and consumer products, with some including the Baskin Robbins x ONE PIECE ice cream promotion.
