The Quintessential Quintuplets ∽, new anime from the franchise based on Negi Haruba’s manga, has been announced earlier today. The new anime will cover the stories that were skipped in the original adaptation, which ended with a movie last year. The first season of The Quintessential Quintuplets anime adaptation aired in 2019 and was animated by Tezuka Productions. Bibury Animation Studios took over for the 2nd season, which premiered in 2021. Bibury Animation Studios also animated the final movie.

While on a school trip to Kyoto, the sisters’ relationships nearly go south as they vie for Futaro’s affection, but they weather the storm, come out stronger for it, and enjoy the trip in the end.
