ONE PIECE FILM RED mobilized over 5 million people and earned over 7 billion yen (~$52.2 million USD) in the first 10 days since its August 6 premiere, becoming the highest earning and highest selling ONE PIECE movie in history. The record was previously held by the ONE PIECE FILM Z, which premiered in December 2012 and earned a total of 6.87 billion yen (~$51.2 million USD).
