TMS Entertainment (Fruits Basket: The Final) is animating the series with Kanna Hirayama (Oshi no Ko) adapting the character designs based on the manga by Reiji Miyajima. The main cast of the series includes Shun Horie as Kazuya Kinoshita, Sora Amamiya as Chizuru, Rie Takahashi as Sumi Nao Toyama as Ruka Aoi Yuki as Mami, and Yuu Serizawa as Mini.

In today’s Japan, “rental” services can deliver an afternoon with a “friend,” a “parent,” even a fake girlfriend! After a staggering betrayal by his girlfriend, hapless freshman Kazuya gets just desperate enough to give it a try.
