Tokyo Ghoul Creator To Start A New Manga 2d6554

On his Twitter , the creator of Tokyo Ghoul Sui Ishida posted about a new manga. For now it’s just an illustration and title, and you can check out the tweet: 71276g

He says he finished the draft for it and mentions dreaming about Tokyo Ghoul. The only thing we have right now is the illustration:

Tokyo Ghoul is a Japanese dark fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Sui Ishida. It serialized from September 2011 to September 2014, and has fourteen compilation volumes. Tokyo Ghoul:re is the sequel manga, and it serialized from October 2014 to July 2018. The story also got an anime adaptation in 2015. Its first season was very well received, but the following 2 not as much. It was mostly because the anime drastically changed from the manga (if I correctly), and fans didn’t take it very well. Some are even hoping it gets a remake some day.

However, let’s also that an iconic opening came out of the franchise. Obviously I mean ‘unravel’ by Ling Tosite Sigure. Pretty much every fan has heard it, and it’s also one of the most viewed songs on YouTube.

Anyway, I personally enjoyed the manga, and am definitely looking forward to Sui Ishida’s next work!
